A law firm in New York City is seeking a Real Estate Law Attorney with portable business and significant experience in real estate law.

 

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients on various real estate matters, including transactions, leasing, financing, and development.
  • Draft and review real estate contracts, agreements, and leases.
  • Conduct due diligence and title examinations for real estate transactions.
  • Assist clients in negotiations and settlements related to real estate disputes.
  • Represent clients in real estate closings and other legal proceedings.
  • Stay updated on real estate laws, regulations, and market trends.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other professionals in the industry.

 

Requirements:

  • Portable business.
  • Significant experience as a Real Estate Law Attorney.
  • Admission to the State Bar in New York or eligibility for admission.
  • Strong understanding of real estate laws and regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex real estate transactions and disputes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.

 

Education/Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar in New York or ability to become licensed.
  • Certification in Real Estate Law preferred.

 

Skills:

  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating real estate contracts and agreements.
  • Knowledge of relevant real estate law software and tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong business development and networking skills.
  • Experience in managing real estate transactions from start to finish.
