Job Overview

A law firm seeks a compassionate and experienced Family Law Attorney in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will independently manage a diverse caseload, communicate effectively with clients, and collaborate with the litigation and support team. Spanish proficiency is strongly preferred to serve our diverse client base.

Duties

  • Independently manage a full caseload of complex family law matters.
  • Represent clients in all stages of litigation, including hearings and trials.
  • Analyze and address complex financial issues in family law cases.
  • Collaborate with financial experts to develop case strategies.
  • Draft and review legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Conduct and defend depositions in high-net-worth matters.
  • Provide strategic legal counsel tailored to client goals.
  • Engage in settlement negotiations and mediation professionally.
  • Maintain clear and compassionate communication with clients.
  • Ensure compliance with court rules and ethical obligations.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership and support staff for efficient case management.
  • Contribute to the growth and reputation of the family law practice.

Requirements

  • Active Member of the Arizona State Bar.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in family law.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Arizona.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Spanish preferred.
  • Ability to manage complex cases independently.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
