Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney specializing in Personal Injury to join their team in Glendale, California. This full-time, exempt position involves handling both pre-litigation and litigation matters in a dynamic environment dedicated to client advocacy and results.

Duties

  • Manage personal injury cases from intake through resolution.
  • Attend and handle trials, mediations, arbitrations, depositions, and court hearings.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, mediation briefs, trial briefs, and related legal documents.
  • Oversee pre-trial work including settlement negotiations and demand letters.

Requirements

  • Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of California.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed attorney in personal injury pre-litigation and litigation.
  • Experience in taking and defending depositions, and propounding and responding to discovery.
  • Proficiency in Armenian or Spanish is preferred but not required.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership with the State Bar of California.

Skills

  • Strong legal writing and courtroom advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
