Job Overview

A law firm seeks a proactive Financial and Fintech Advisory Associate with at least 5 years of transactional experience for their Washington, D.C. office. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and contributing to a collegial team.

Duties

  • Advise on innovative financial transactions and regulatory reform measures.
  • Manage a range of issues for transactions in the financial services space.
  • Drive market-leading projects, including bank structuring partnerships and platform integrations.
  • Conduct pre-transaction due diligence of financial service companies.
  • Handle purchases and sales of mortgage loans and receivables.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant law firm experience.
  • Highly motivated with superior client service skills.
  • Ability to manage and learn a broad array of transaction types.
  • Membership to the State Bar of New York or Washington, D.C. required.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

  • State Bar membership in New York or Washington, D.C.
