Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Mid to Senior-Level Associate with expertise in privacy and cybersecurity to join its team in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience in handling privacy and cybersecurity issues, contributing to the growth of the firm's practice group in this area.

Duties

• Investigate and counsel on responses to data breaches.
• Manage privacy program development and implementation.
• Negotiate complex IT, licensing, and outsourcing contracts.
• Advise clients on privacy and data security matters across industries.
• Draft and negotiate technology-focused commercial transactions.
• Address privacy and cybersecurity issues in M&A transactions.
• Draft company privacy and security policies.
• Advise on fintech and blockchain privacy and cybersecurity issues.

Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• At least five years' experience in privacy and cybersecurity.
• Privacy professional certification preferred.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
