Duties

• Review and draft security policies.
• Provide data breach prevention and risk-mitigation counseling.
• Conduct data breach investigation and response counseling.
• Advise on international, federal, and state privacy laws.
• Implement privacy and security compliance programs.
• Negotiate IT, licensing, and outsourcing contracts.
• Advise on data governance strategies.
• Address privacy and cybersecurity in M&A transactions.
• Draft terms of service and privacy policies.

Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• At least 5 years of experience in privacy and cybersecurity.
• Privacy professional certification preferred.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
