Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level healthcare associate in New York, NY. The position focuses on pharmacy, pharmaceutical supply chain, PBM, reimbursement, and payor-related matters. The role is ideal for attorneys with experience advising healthcare sponsors and strategics, including providers and suppliers, on complex regulatory and commercial issues.

Duties

• Advise clients on pharmacy matters and supply chain issues.
• Engage in PBM and payor negotiations, audits, and disputes.
• Address reimbursement and pricing issues.
• Handle licensure and regulatory approvals.
• Consider regulatory impacts on alternate-site, at-home, and value-based care arrangements.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on sophisticated healthcare matters.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in healthcare regulatory and transactional work.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience working collaboratively in teams and managing substantial components independently.
• Outstanding academic credentials and comparable law firm experience.
• Relevant bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

• Familiarity with pharmacy, payor, or reimbursement-driven healthcare regulatory work.
• Ability to manage complex transactions and matters.
