Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Tax Associate to join their Investment Funds Group in New York, NY. The successful candidate will focus on partnership tax issues, particularly subchapter K, within an asset management practice.

Duties

  • Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, and business professionals.
  • Produce timely and accurate deliverables.
  • Manage deadlines and expectations efficiently.
  • Foster positive work relationships.
  • Engage in both physical and sedentary activities as required.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years of transactional tax experience with subchapter K.
  • Experience from a Vault 10 law firm preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Education

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice in the state of New York.

Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in managing competing demands.
