A law firm seeks a Junior-Mid-Level Trusts and Estates Attorney to join its expanding Trusts and Estates Department in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This role offers the opportunity to work with highly-skilled attorneys in a collaborative environment.

Duties

  • Engage in estate planning, tax planning, and trust and estate administration.
  • Design and implement personalized estate plans for high net-worth individuals and families.
  • Develop tax-efficient estate and wealth transfer strategies.
  • Manage billable hour requirements and maintain accurate timekeeping records.
  • Participate actively in business development and client networking.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a private law firm setting.
  • Experience with high net-worth clients and family-owned businesses.
  • Ability to manage billable hours and maintain accurate records.
  • Interest in networking, marketing, and client development.

Education

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admitted to the New Hampshire and Massachusetts Bar, or ability to waive in.
  • Other bar memberships are a plus.
