Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney in San Francisco, CA, to join their Mass Tort and Product Liability practice. This role offers a hybrid work schedule and the chance to collaborate with a distinguished trial team on complex litigation cases.

Duties

• Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis for case strategy.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Participate in all stages of trial preparation, including discovery and courtroom advocacy.
• Assist in developing case strategy and client counseling.
• Handle court appearances and argue motions as needed.
• Collaborate with partners and senior associates on complex litigation matters.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• 2-7 years of experience in mass torts and/or product liability litigation preferred.
• Experience in other defense litigation practice areas within the 2-7-year range may be considered.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience drafting motions, taking and defending depositions, and handling discovery.
• Trial experience or interest in trial work is a plus.
• Admitted to practice in California.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in California.
