A law firm seeks an experienced business attorney to join their Portland, Oregon office in a hybrid position. The role involves advising a diverse range of clients, from local businesses to large national and international companies, across various industries.

Duties

• Advise on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and securities transactions.
• Develop strategic partnerships and manage commercial contracts.
• Provide superior client service and partner with clients to achieve their goals.
• Engage in real estate transactions as needed.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in business law.
• Established, portable client base.
• Membership in the Oregon State Bar Association or eligibility for reciprocity.
• California, Idaho, or Washington State Bar license is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar membership in Oregon or eligibility for reciprocity.

Skills

• Strong expertise in corporate governance and securities law.
