A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Basking Ridge, NJ, to manage local and national accounts in New York and New Jersey. The firm specializes in complex civil litigation, including toxic tort, product liability, and commercial litigation.

Duties

• Independently manage a litigation caseload
• Conduct depositions
• Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial
• Review and analyze discovery requests
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests, pleadings, and motions
• Provide trial preparation and support
• Maintain accurate time records

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• One plus years' experience
• Admitted to practice in New Jersey and/or New York
• Experience with motion practice and depositions
• Experience taking lead in plaintiff and expert depositions
• Capable of independent work
• Work in an organized and efficient manner
• Superior research and writing skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to analyze complex matters

Education

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in New Jersey and/or New York
