Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level Investment Management Associate Attorney in Denver, Colorado. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience, preferably from a top 100 law firm, and a strong background in investment management, including regulatory experience with the SEC's Division of Investment Management.

Duties

• Advise private fund clients and their advisers on the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.
• Draft corporate governance documents for registered advisers and investment companies.
• Provide guidance on securities laws, registration, exemptions, compliance, and governance.
• Collaborate with a dynamic team of investment management specialists.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of relevant experience, preferably at a top 100 law firm.
• Experience with registered investment advisers and investment companies.
• Outstanding writing and analytical skills.
• Admitted to the state bar in which you are practicing or eligible to waive in.
