Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level associate with 3-6 years of experience to join its Corporate Practice in Short Hills, NJ. The successful candidate will work closely with partners and team members, contributing to strategic transactions across various industries.

Duties

• Represent buyers and sellers in strategic transactions.
• Coordinate and execute corporate transactions, including M&A and private equity.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and agreements.
• Conduct diligence reviews and coordinate deal closings.
• Supervise and train junior associates.
• Manage client relationships and perform general research.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of law firm experience required.
• Experience in M&A required.
• Experience in private equity fund management preferred.
• Experience supervising junior associates required.
• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey or New York.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Licensed attorney in good standing.
