Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate with 3-10 years of experience to join its whistleblower and consumer protection class actions practice groups in Burlingame, CA. Duties

  • Engage in pre-filing investigations and client intake.
  • Draft complaints and manage law and motion activities.
  • Conduct and defend depositions.
  • Oversee complex discovery and electronic stored information (ESI).
  • Collaborate with experts and prepare for trials.
  • Participate in bench and jury trials, as well as appeals.

Requirements

  • 3-10 years of litigation experience.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills.
  • Experience with depositions and court proceedings.
  • Experience managing complex discovery and ESI.
  • Prior federal clerkship is a plus, but not required.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the California State Bar.
