A law firm seeks a 4th-year Bankruptcy Litigation Associate to join its New York, NY office. Duties

  • Collaborate on complex bankruptcy and restructuring matters, including Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court workouts.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda and pleadings on bankruptcy issues.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and stakeholders professionally.
  • Stay informed on legal developments and industry trends in bankruptcy law.
  • Attend bankruptcy court hearings.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
  • Admission to the New York or California State Bar.
  • 4th-year associate with 3+ years of commercial litigation and bankruptcy experience.
  • Proven track record as a litigator with outstanding legal writing skills.
  • Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Education
