Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Banking/Transactional Associate Attorney for their Covington, KY office. This role involves performing associate-level legal work within the Banking/Transactional practice group and occasionally supporting Corporate and Real Estate practice areas. The successful candidate will collaborate with supervising attorneys to represent clients in various legal matters.

Duties

  • Negotiate, draft, review, and revise contracts and agreements.
  • Provide legal advice on banking, real estate, and corporate matters.
  • Complete due diligence for banking, corporate, and real estate transactions.
  • Assess risk and advise on mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct research on legal issues in Banking/Transactional, Corporate, and Real Estate areas.
  • Offer legal counsel on fiscal responsibilities and transactions.
  • Provide advice on general compliance matters.
  • Resolve issues arising from projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1-4 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Strong drafting, writing, and analytical skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
