Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney with over two years of experience in family or business immigration for their Sandy Springs, GA office. The role focuses on non-removal defense immigration, primarily family-based immigration, consular and immigrant visa processing, waivers of inadmissibility, and naturalization matters.

Duties

  • Manage paralegals in adjustments of status and consular immigrant visa processing.
  • Draft responses to requests for evidence (RFE).
  • Prepare clients for overseas consular interviews.
  • Handle immigrant and nonimmigrant waivers of inadmissibility, DACA, and family immigration matters.

Requirements

  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia.
  • Knowledge of Spanish is an asset.

Education

  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Georgia.

Skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
  • Ability to manage caseload and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
