Attorney with litigation and/or insurance coverage experience

Job Overview:
A highly respected, AV-rated mid-sized law firm is seeking experienced attorneys with expertise in litigation and/or insurance coverage to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with backgrounds in areas such as professional liability, general liability, complex litigation, products liability, and construction defects, though prior experience in these areas is not required. The firm is looking for self-starters who are also collaborative team players, capable of managing complex legal matters and working toward positive client outcomes. A bilingual or multilingual skill set is a plus but not mandatory.

Location:

Duties:

• Manage and resolve a variety of complex insurance defense and coverage matters.
• Provide legal counsel and strategy to clients in litigation and insurance coverage disputes.
• Lead cases through all phases of litigation, from discovery through trial or settlement.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to achieve favorable case outcomes.
• Maintain client relationships through effective communication and high-quality service.
• Contribute to the firm’s practice development and expansion through hands-on involvement in all stages of litigation.

Requirements:

• Experience in litigation, specifically in insurance defense and coverage.
• Strong knowledge of insurance law, professional liability, general liability, and complex litigation.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently while working effectively in a team environment.
• Proven skills in legal writing, including motions, pleadings, and other litigation documents.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction(s) (New York, Florida, or California).

Skills:

• Expertise in insurance defense, coverage issues, and litigation strategies.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage client relationships and provide effective legal advice.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, but not required.
