Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Real Estate practice group in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transactional real estate, including purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, and leasing agreements.

Duties

  • Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements.
  • Handle development and property management agreements.
  • Manage leasing agreements and joint ventures.
  • Assist with borrower-side financing and fund experience.
  • Collaborate with team members to support national practice growth.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of broad transactional real estate experience.

  • Superior writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice.
