A law firm seeks an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney to join its Litigation Practice Group in Baton Rouge, LA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in defending employment-related claims and advising employers on compliance and other employment matters.

Duties

• Defend both insured and uninsured employment-related claims in litigation.
• Advise employers on compliance and employment-related matters.
• Independently litigate employment-related cases.
• Collaborate with a dynamic and collegial team.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in labor and employment law.
• Ability to independently manage litigation and client advisement.
• Louisiana law license required.
• Full-time in-office presence in New Orleans or Baton Rouge.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Louisiana.
