Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Trademark and Copyright Associate with 3-4 years of experience to join their team in Greenwich, CT. The ideal candidate will have expertise in trademark and copyright matters, including prosecution, strategy, and enforcement, with flexibility to work in Boston or New York.

Duties

  • Manage domestic and global trademark prosecution and portfolio management.
  • Handle trademark disputes and enforcement, including online investigations.
  • Draft and negotiate IP-related agreements and contracts.
  • Conduct IP due diligence for corporate transactions.
  • Represent clients in disputes before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB).

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of intellectual property experience in private practice.
  • Strong organizational and technical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Collaborative team player with problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with attention to detail and client service skills.
  • Bar admission in good standing in the practicing jurisdiction.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
