Duties

• Advise clients on federal and state healthcare laws, including HIPAA, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback Statute.
• Provide guidance on organizational structure and governance for healthcare entities.
• Counsel on healthcare structures, ownership, and private equity investments.
• Evaluate risks in healthcare transactions and assist with agreement negotiations.
• Support clients in mergers, acquisitions, and other affiliations.
• Deliver business-focused solutions to compliance challenges.
• Represent clients in investigations and proceedings.
• Advise on taxation and exempt organization matters.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in healthcare law.
• Admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan.
• Portable book of business.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to the State Bar of Michigan.
