Duties

• Provide tax planning and advice to clients, including multinational corporations and private individuals.
• Engage in transactional planning and tax-advantaged business restructuring.
• Represent clients in state and local administrative proceedings and appeals.
• Collaborate with the Government Law and Policy Practice for legislative results.

Requirements

• Admitted to the California bar.
• Solid academic credentials from a top law school.
• Strong writing and advocacy skills.
• Interest in federal and state tax controversies.
• Property tax experience or prior government experience preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor from a top law school.
• LLM in Taxation preferred but not required.

Certifications

• California Bar Admission.
