Job Overview

A law firm seeks a high-performing Intellectual Property associate to join their team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical or mechanical engineering and 3-5 years of patent litigation experience.

Duties

• Conduct patent litigation with a focus on electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Engage in trial experience, including brief writing and oral motion practice.
• Take and defend depositions effectively.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of patent litigation experience.
• Experience in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred.
• Strong academic background.
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
• Bar admission required for the jurisdiction of practice.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Mechanical Engineering (BSME) preferred.

Certifications

• Bar admission in New York.
