Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney in Southlake, Texas, to join their Texas Family Law practice. This full-time, hybrid position offers flexibility while maintaining integration with the firm's workflows and team collaboration.

Duties

  • Manage Texas Family Law matters including divorce, custody, support, modification, and enforcement cases.
  • Conduct client consultations and strategy discussions.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement documents, and legal correspondence.
  • Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, and trials as needed.
  • Communicate professionally and consistently with clients.
  • Work within the firm's case management and documentation systems.
  • Maintain accuracy, organization, and timeliness across assigned matters.
  • Collaborate with firm attorneys and staff to ensure efficient case progression.

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing.
  • Minimum 3 years of Texas Family Law experience required.
  • Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and multiple active cases.
  • Professional demeanor and client-focused mindset.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Courtroom experience preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.
