Job Overview:

A well-established national law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join its growing Tampa Bay office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 1–7 years of litigation experience to handle complex cases in a collaborative, hybrid work environment. The firm values proactive legal professionals who are adept at managing cases from inception to resolution.

Location:

  • St. Petersburg, Florida

Duties:

  • Manage litigation matters from initial pleadings through final resolution

  • Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial briefs

  • Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations

  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys and legal staff in a supportive environment

  • Maintain organized case files and meet deadlines efficiently

Requirements:

  • 1–7 years of litigation experience (defense litigation experience preferred)

  • Experience in construction defect, general liability, or product liability is a plus

  • Strong oral advocacy and written communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and work independently

  • Must be a self-starter with team collaboration skills

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active admission to the Florida Bar is required

Skills:

  • Ability to handle a full caseload with minimal supervision

  • Experience conducting depositions and court hearings

  • Strong legal research and writing abilities

  • Organized and detail-oriented

  • Proficient in legal practice management tools and Microsoft Office Suite
