Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly qualified and motivated mid-level associate to join its Real Estate group in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, experience in a law firm or similar environment, and excellent writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Duties

• Represent property owners and investors in complex real estate and finance transactions.
• Handle acquisition financings, mezzanine financings, construction financings, refinancings, and loan modifications.
• Draft and review core transaction documents.
• Manage transactions from inception through closing and post-closing.

Requirements

• Three or more years of experience representing lenders or borrowers in sophisticated real estate transactions.
• Ability to navigate complex subject matter quickly and effectively.
• Ambition, drive, and team-orientation to support a national practice.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of intended practice.

Skills

• Superior writing and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with joint ventures and equity arrangements is a plus.
