Duties

  • Handle all aspects of personal injury litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediation, and trial.
  • Communicate directly with clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel to move cases toward resolution.
  • Negotiate settlements that reflect the full value of clients' injuries.
  • Develop and execute litigation strategies with support from a dedicated team.
  • Participate in case reviews to improve outcomes, efficiency, and client experience.
  • Collaborate with a high-performing team that values excellence, empathy, and integrity.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience litigating personal injury cases, with a preference for plaintiff's work.
  • Strong knowledge of Alabama civil procedure, evidence, and trial practice.
  • Proven ability to manage a litigation docket efficiently and achieve timely resolutions.
  • Excellent client communication skills, including proactive updates and guidance.
  • Strong writing and oral advocacy skills, confident in court and persuasive in negotiation.
  • Team-oriented attitude with a focus on professionalism, empathy, and results.
  • Licensed to practice law in Alabama, with dual licensure in Georgia preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Alabama.
