Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Personal Injury Attorney in Wichita, Kansas (Remote). This role is ideal for a driven attorney ready to take ownership of cases, advocate for clients, and contribute to a high-performing team.

Duties

  • Lead personal injury cases from intake through resolution or trial.
  • Conduct detailed case investigations and develop strong evidentiary support.
  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, and legal briefs.
  • Negotiate strategically with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
  • Prepare for and represent clients at trial when necessary.
  • Develop case strategies tailored to maximize client outcomes.
  • Stay current on legal trends, case law, and regulatory updates.
  • Mentor and support junior attorneys and legal staff.
  • Contribute to client experience and firm growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active license in Nebraska and/or Iowa.
  • 3-5+ years of personal injury litigation experience.
  • Proven ability to drive strong case results and settlements.
  • Excellent written, oral, and courtroom advocacy skills.
  • Strong negotiation instincts and strategic thinking.
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with a team.
  • Experience with legal research tools and case management systems.

Education

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active license in Nebraska and/or Iowa.
