Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney in Chicago, IL. This role involves handling residential and commercial foreclosures, title disputes, and other real estate matters. The attorney will appear in court, develop case strategies, and draft legal documents. Duties

  • Manage a caseload of contested matters for mortgage lenders and investors.
  • Appear in court for routine and contested hearings.

Requirements

  • J.D. degree, licensed in Illinois, in good standing with the Illinois Bar.
  • 1-3 years of litigation experience in mortgage foreclosure and creditor rights preferred.
  • Knowledge of Illinois Mortgage Foreclosure process required.
  • Familiarity with Illinois Code of Civil Procedure and Supreme Court Rules.
