Job Overview

A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Title Attorney to join its Energy and Natural Resources practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in examining title, drafting title opinions, and performing related curative work, particularly within the oil, gas, or broader energy sector. 

Location

  • Pittsburgh, PA

Duties

  • Examine title records and draft certified title opinions

  • Conduct title curative work in support of natural resources and energy clients

  • Draft and review legal documents including deeds, leases, assignments, and real estate-related agreements

  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all client and firm matters

  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff in a fast-paced, client-focused environment

  • Engage in legal research and analysis related to title and real estate law

  • Provide guidance on real estate transactions in the energy sector

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in title examination and title opinion drafting

  • Prior experience in the energy and natural resources industry strongly preferred

  • Strong analytical, research, writing, and oral communication skills

  • Ability to handle deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently

  • Commitment to professional growth and contributing to a team-oriented culture

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in:

    • Pennsylvania
