Job Overview:
A reputable law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its Denver office. This role focuses on complex commercial and construction litigation matters. Ideal candidates will bring 3–5 years of litigation experience, a strong academic background, and demonstrated skills in legal research, writing, and courtroom preparation.

Location:

• Denver, Colorado

Duties:

• Draft and review pleadings, legal memoranda, motions, and briefs

• Conduct legal research and case analysis

• Manage discovery processes and case files

• Participate in depositions, hearings, and trial preparation

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop litigation strategies

• Ensure compliance with procedural rules and deadlines

• Contribute to client communication and case updates

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of litigation experience

• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks

• Strong organizational and analytical abilities

• Self-starter with strong attention to detail

• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Colorado (or eligibility to waive in)

Skills:

• Exceptional legal research and writing skills

• Strong drafting abilities for pleadings and legal documents

• Familiarity with court procedures and litigation processes

• Experience in commercial or construction litigation preferred

• Trial experience is a plus
