A law firm is seeking a Junior Associate Attorney in Houston, TX.

Job Overview:

  • Assist in government and internal investigations.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Participate in case strategy meetings and client consultations.
  • Assist in reviewing and analyzing evidence and documents.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to prepare for hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Handle administrative tasks as needed to support case management.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Texas State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant legal practice experience.
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in government and internal investigations.
  • Exceptional writing, research, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Texas State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.

Skills:

  • Proficient in legal research tools and databases.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in Spanish and Portuguese.
