Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level associate with expertise in life sciences licensing to join their team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in intellectual property licensing and technology transactions, particularly within the life sciences sector.

Duties

  • Draft and negotiate intellectual property licenses, including patent and trademark licenses.
  • Engage in joint development, collaboration, and strategic alliance agreements.
  • Handle technology licenses and services agreements, including software as a service agreements.
  • Conduct intellectual property and technology transaction due diligence for corporate transactions.
  • Participate in technology transfers and distribution agreements.

Requirements

  • Experience in managing substantial components of transactions independently.
  • Strong academic credentials and comparable law firm experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relevant bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.

Education
