A law firm seeks a highly skilled Partner-Level Attorney to join its foreclosure department in New York, NY. Duties

  • Lead and manage all aspects of mortgage foreclosure cases from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and complex court documents.
  • Oversee a robust foreclosure litigation caseload, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
  • Represent clients in court, including trials, hearings, and depositions.
  • Maintain communication with clients, providing strategic legal advice and updates.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to ensure high-quality legal services.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active admission to the New York State Bar; New Jersey Bar admission is a plus.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in mortgage foreclosure litigation.
  • Exceptional analytical, research, and legal writing skills.
  • Proven track record in handling complex litigation from start to finish.
  • Familiarity with platforms like LPS/Black Knight and Tempo is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple high-priority cases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Portable book of business to bring to the firm.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
