Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Oklahoma City, OK. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive legal services, focusing on federal law and its application to tribal matters. This role requires in-person attendance and the ability to commute or relocate.

Duties

• Travel to off-site meetings with prospective and current clients.
• Apply knowledge of business issues, legal procedures, and applicable regulatory authority to counsel clients effectively.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda, pleadings, and documents for litigation matters.
• Appear at hearings and trials as needed or assigned.
• Draft tribal codes, regulations, and agreements; analyze and review legal documents.

Requirements

• 0-3 years of experience required.
• Comply with all court and state bar licensure obligations, including continuing legal education requirements.
• Driver's license.

Education

• Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited university.

Certifications

• License with the Oklahoma Bar Association or pending.
