Associate Attorney - Litigation

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate attorney to join its Litigation practice group in Minneapolis, MN. The successful candidate will engage in various litigation tasks, including research, argument development, and trial participation, supporting senior attorneys in diverse legal matters.

Duties

• Analyze and investigate litigation matters.
• Conduct research and develop legal arguments.
• Assist in all phases of litigation, including motions and depositions.
• Prepare and review motions, briefs, and discovery documents.
• Perform other associate attorney-level duties as required.

Requirements

• License to practice law in Minnesota.
• Valid driver's license in Minnesota.
• Zero to three years of litigation experience.
• Ability to handle complex legal matters.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight as needed.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to the Minnesota State Bar.
