Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney with four to five years of experience to join its Minneapolis, MN office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, excellent writing and oral advocacy skills, and a commitment to client service.

Duties

• Manage pleadings, motions, and briefing on complex matters.
• Handle e-discovery and fact development efficiently.
• Address complex fact, legal, and logistical issues strategically.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Appear in state and federal court for motions and pre-trial matters.
• Provide strategic and analytical solutions to client challenges.

Requirements

• Four to five years of litigation experience.
• Active Minnesota license or eligibility for admission to the Minnesota bar.
• Experience with regional, national, or reputable local law firms preferred.
• Clerkship and court experience are advantageous.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Minnesota or eligible for admission.
