Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in New Jersey to represent mortgage lender and investor clients in foreclosure, title, and general real estate litigation. The role involves making court appearances for routine hearings and drafting and reviewing legal documents.

Duties

• Manage a caseload of foreclosure matters for mortgage lenders and investors.
• Appear in court to argue motions for foreclosure, title, and other matters.
• Communicate with clients to ensure quality representation and adherence to directives.
• Collaborate with support staff to prepare and execute legal documents for foreclosure processes.
• Analyze loan files, title reports, and other client documents.
• Draft and review legal pleadings and correspondence related to foreclosure actions.
• Communicate with borrowers and their counsel regarding foreclosure matters.

Requirements

• J.D. degree, licensed in New Jersey, and in good standing with the New Jersey Bar.
• Preferred minimum of one year of practice experience.
• Knowledge of New Jersey Mortgage Foreclosure Law preferred, but training is available for the right candidate.
