Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of insurance defense experience

A law firm in Elmsford, NY is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in insurance defense work. The ideal candidate will have specific experience in auto insurance defense and trial experience is a plus.

Duties:

• Manage and handle insurance defense cases, focusing on auto insurance claims.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery requests.
• Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Develop and implement case strategies and prepare for trial.
• Review and analyze insurance policies and coverage issues related to auto claims.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the cases.
• Provide legal advice and recommendations to clients regarding defense strategies and case management.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
