Job Overview

A law firm seeks a construction attorney with at least 6 years of construction litigation experience for its Scottsdale, AZ office. The ideal candidate will possess strong advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation skills, along with trial preparation and courtroom experience.

Duties

  • Prepare for and participate in trials, including file responsibility and motion practice.
  • Conduct depositions and manage case files effectively.
  • Engage in legal research and draft legal documents.
  • Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of construction litigation experience.
  • Proven trial preparation and courtroom experience.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Experience with insurance defense processes is a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Arizona.
