A law firm in San Francisco is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience in commercial real estate finance litigation and related transactions, or a strong interest in developing expertise in this area. Bankruptcy litigation experience is beneficial for this role. The ideal candidate will possess excellent research, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse discovery and motion-related projects.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to commercial real estate finance litigation matters.
  • Draft and prepare various legal documents including discovery requests, responses, and motions.
  • Assist with document review, analysis, and management in preparation for discovery and trial.
  • Manage deposition preparation and assist in taking and defending depositions.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and execution.
  • Attend court hearings, trials, and other proceedings as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
  • 2-4 years of experience in commercial real estate finance litigation or related fields.
  • Experience in bankruptcy litigation is desirable.
  • Strong academic credentials throughout undergraduate and law school.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
