Job Overview:
A mid-level Real Estate Associate position available in multiple office locations. This role focuses on sophisticated real estate finance and transactional matters, representing lenders, borrowers, property owners, and investors in complex real estate transactions. The position offers significant responsibility and the opportunity to work on high-value projects across various asset classes.

Duties:

  • Represent lenders, borrowers, property owners, and investors in real estate finance transactions
  • Handle acquisition financings, mezzanine financings, construction financings, refinancings, and loan modifications
  • Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents
  • Manage transactions from inception through closing and post-closing activities
  • Assist with real estate investment and financing structures involving institutional lenders, private equity firms, and developers
  • Support joint venture and equity arrangement matters when applicable
  • Collaborate with attorneys and clients on complex transactional strategies

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate finance or related transactional matters
  • Experience representing lenders or borrowers in sophisticated real estate transactions
  • Ability to independently manage transactions and coordinate multiple parties
  • Experience in a law firm or similar professional environment preferred
  • Ability to quickly understand and address complex legal and business issues

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Active bar admission in the jurisdiction where the attorney intends to practice

  • Ability to manage transactions through all stages of completion
