Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Leveraged Finance Associate to join its Global Finance Group in Washington, D.C. The role involves working on leveraged finance transactions, including acquisition financings, refinancings, and restructuring-related financings.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate transaction documents.
• Lead financing transactions for borrower and lead arranger clients.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience with syndicated lending and/or private credit/direct lending.
• Experience representing borrowers or lead arrangers.
• Strong experience with sponsor finance/LBO finance preferred.
• Admission or eligibility for admission to the Washington D.C. bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the bar in Washington D.C. or eligibility for admission.

Skills

• Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex financial documents.
• Strong leadership and transaction management skills.
