Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly qualified and motivated mid-level Real Estate Associate to join their team in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate transactions and the ability to manage complex deals from start to finish.

Duties

• Represent property owners and investors in real estate and finance transactions.
• Draft and review core transaction documents.
• Manage transactions from inception through closing and post-closing.
• Collaborate with institutional lenders, private equity, and developers.

Requirements

• Three or more years of experience in real estate debt transactions.
• Experience with acquisition, mezzanine, construction financings, and loan modifications.
• Ability to navigate complex subject matter effectively.
• Team-oriented with ambition and drive.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice.

Skills

• Superior writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with joint ventures and equity arrangements is a plus.
