Job Overview
A law firm seeks a mid-senior level wage and hour associate for its Woodland Hills, CA office. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in wage and hour litigation, particularly in defending employers in complex class, collective, and representative actions.

Duties

  • Draft and respond to complaints, answers, and dispositive motions.
  • Manage written discovery processes.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Prepare and argue motions, including class certification and decertification.
  • Litigate and strategize PAGA representative actions.
  • Analyze exemption classifications and compliance issues.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of relevant litigation experience.
  • Admission to the California Bar.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex matters in a fast-paced environment.

 

Education

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

 

Certifications

  • California Bar admission.
