Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Eminent Domain Litigation Associate in Oakland, CA. The ideal candidate will have three to seven years of experience in real estate and eminent domain litigation, with a focus on public entity land acquisition matters. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation cases throughout California.

Duties

• Represent clients in eminent domain and real estate litigation.
• Develop evidence and build cases for trial.
• Conduct witness interviews and manage depositions.
• Engage in law and motion practice, including dispositive motions.

Requirements

• Three to seven years of relevant litigation experience.
• Proven ability to work effectively in teams.
• Strong analytical and creative thinking skills.
• Excellent research and writing capabilities.
• Experience in eminent domain or public entity land acquisition litigation.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the California State Bar.
