IP Litigation Associate (Life Sciences/ANDA)

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an IP Litigation Associate specializing in Life Sciences/ANDA for their Palo Alto, CA office. The ideal candidate will have experience in patent litigation and be comfortable engaging in court proceedings and client interactions.

Duties

• Participate in case analyses and conduct factual and legal research.
• Draft pleadings and participate in discovery processes.
• Engage in depositions and expert discovery.
• Research and draft dispositive and discovery motions.
• Contribute to pre-trial and trial activities.

Requirements

• 2-6 years of significant patent litigation experience in U.S. District Courts and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
• Experience with underlying case analyses and strategic development.
• Excellent writing skills.

Education

• Undergraduate or master's degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or other life sciences discipline.
• High level of academic achievement from a law school institution.
