Duties

  • Evaluate claims and develop effective defense strategies.

  • Stay current on workers' compensation statutes and case law.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Louisiana State Bar and in good standing.
  • 3-7 years of workers' compensation or insurance defense experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent legal writing abilities.
  • Experience handling depositions, hearings, or administrative proceedings.
  • Ability to manage files independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to responsive client service.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Louisiana State Bar.
